Museum: Freer/Sackler Smithsonian Art Galleries

These Asian galleries offer entertaining and interactive programs designed for children to learn about Asian art, culture, and history.

ImagineAsia is designed for children between the ages 8-12. Take a guided tour of the museum and then create your own work of art. Activities include puppets, music, stories and dance.

ExploreAsia is designed for children under the age of 8, but all family members may participate in the hands on activities offered.

The Freer will be closing in January of 2016 for renovations, so get there before the end of the year! Always check their website for event times and closures before planning your trip.
