Outdoor Adventure at Seneca Creek

This park offers the ultimate outdoor day of play and has plenty of shade and water to keep you cool. Pack up the car (picnic, roller skates, boards, fishing gear, small boats, volleyball, bikes, and whatever else you can fit), drive about an hour, then let the kids run their little hearts out. The playground alone is worth the trip. When was the last time you rode on a horizontal tire swing? There are plenty of picnic tables with grills in the shade and the marina and playground are within walking distance. If you’re feeling like a hike, they’ve got you covered there too with over 50 miles of trails. Plan ahead. By checking out the maps and activities listed on their website, you can get ideas of where you would like to focus. You can’t do all 6,300 acres in one day, but you could certainly try!
