Pick Your Own Produce and Flowers

If you haven’t tasted a perfectly ripe peach right off the tree, you’re missing out! Living along the outer edges of population gives many of us the opportunity to drive out into the country and pick for ourselves. It’s a day spent outside in the fresh air, teaching our children something new. Quite simply, were selecting fresh food for our tables.

Many farms in the Northern Virginia countryside grow a variety of foods and flowers, offering us the opportunity to pick it ourselves. Some farms offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) by purchasing a share of the grower’s crops. If you’d like to start with a taste, scroll through our list and find a farm that looks ideal for you.
