Winter Indoors – United States Botanic Gardens

           

Museums offer unlimited areas of exploration with fewer crowds during the winter and the US Botanic Gardens is no exception. See plant-based recreations of iconic places throughout the United States. Check out their holiday displays with poinsettias and trains. It may not be a day’s worth of interest for the kids, but you can always pop over to the Air and Space Museum across the street.
