ChristmasTown Holiday Tradition

When our little family moved to Virginia, we didn’t REALLY consider the impact that living so far away from our loved ones would have during the holidays. We had to get creative and come up with new, cost-effective family holiday traditions to help make up for the lack of family.

That was when we discovered ChristmasTown at Busch Gardens. Years later, while my oldest might be 18 going on 30, she can’t imagine a year without this tradition.

Busch Gardens has perfected Christmas magic by creating a winter wonderland for the young and the young at heart alike. Each area in the park is festively staged to represent countries around the world. Germany pipes in merry music while you play games, go on rides, and shop the authentic Christmas market while drinking glühwein.

Traditions Within the Park

Christmas Town traditions are abundant in each country represented, presenting opportunities for warm family fun, such as painting pottery together in Canada. With so many activities to take in under eight hours, save time and money by planning ahead. Parking, shows, and meals are available for advanced purchase online. Don’t forget to bring your letters to Santa!
