Winter Wonderland Train Show

Non-Digital Creative Outlet:

In an age where electronic tablets and smartphones dominate the imagination of our young, there is a greater need to introduce them to the world of trains. The Winter Wonderland Train Show provides the perfect introduction.

When you enter the display, all eyes are wide with curiosity. You can see and share their fascination with the details of the miniature town and, like them, imagine what it would be like to walk among the townspeople when the train passes by. They might envision how the town would be laid out if they were the ones to build it, and it could, quite possibly, become the planted seed that grows their interest in S.T.E.A.M. technologies, the old-fashioned way.

Come and see this wonderous train display presented by the National Capital Trackers. The display features a 28×46 foot O gauge layout and an 8×22 foot Standard gauge. The show also includes a train set belonging to the Manassas Museum that has never been on public display.
