Winter Walk of Lights

Cold, fresh air awaits.

Step into holidays by taking your family for a walk among over 750,000 magical lights. An annual display with several years of crafted expansion, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens knows how to present a magnificent display. It’s one of the best Christmas light experiences in the D.C. area, making it worth the drive.

Come Prepared

Dress for the cold and wear comfortable walking shoes. Come prepared to walk a hilly landscape. The 8:30 pm and 9:15 pm time slots are generally the least crowded. At the end of your walk, warm up next to the fire with s’mores and cocoa. Tickets are timed and should be purchased online. Check ahead for promotions and discounts (such as online discounts offered for Mon-Thurs).
