Haymarket Annual Gingerbread House Competition

How long has it been? Every year, the opportunity presents itself while you’re out and about, and every year you say, “That’s okay, we’ll do it next year.” You’re not prepared. You just don’t think of it until you see it, there, right in front of you. Well, here it is, a big fat gingerbread house reminder. And lucky for you, there’s time to plan and build, well, with all that “down time” you’re going to have over the Thanksgiving break. But wait, it gets better… You can enter your masterpiece into the 1st Annual Haymarket Gingerbread House Competition. Now we’re talking!

There will be three categories available to compete in, ages 12 and under, ages 13-18, and family/group entries. Registration forms are due by Wednesday, December 4th and entries are to be brought to Town Hall for submission on December 6th, before 4:30 pm. All entries will be placed on display at the Haymarket Christmas and Holiday Event on December 7th. Winners will be announced just before the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 pm.  Be sure to read and follow all of the rules.

Well, what are you waiting for?
